2. Refund Eligibility:

   • Before Acceptance: If a manuscript is withdrawn before acceptance (i.e., before peer review has been completed), authors may be eligible for a full refund of any fees paid, minus administrative or processing costs, if applicable.
   • After Acceptance but Before Publication: If a manuscript is withdrawn after acceptance but before it is published, the authors may receive a partial refund, depending on the stage of the production process and the services that have already been provided. The refund will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
   • After Publication: Once an article is published, no refunds will be issued. As the content becomes freely accessible and permanent, no refund will be provided after the article is officially published in the journal.

3. Non-Refundable Fees:

   • Fees for expedited review, special services, or additional publication-related services that have already been rendered are non-refundable.
   • If a manuscript is rejected due to issues such as plagiarism, ethical violations, or failure to meet the journal’s submission criteria, no refund will be issued.

4. Request for Refund:

   • To request a refund, authors must submit a formal written request to the editorial team, including the manuscript ID, title, and a reason for the withdrawal or refund request.
   • Refund requests should be submitted promptly and within a reasonable time frame, based on the stage of the publication process.

5. Processing Time for Refunds:

   • Once a refund request is approved, the refund process will typically take 4-6 weeks, depending on the payment method used and the complexity of the request.
   • Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used by the author for the transaction.

6. Exceptional Circumstances:

   • In cases of exceptional circumstances, such as errors made by the journal in processing the submission or failure to meet expected publication timelines, the editorial team may review the situation and offer a refund, at their discretion.
   • Any decisions regarding refunds in such exceptional cases will be made on a case-by-case basis.
